endlesstime20 asked: After installing my reverse osmosis water filter the water seem to have alot of little bubble or things floating in it. I double check all the connection and everything seem to be correct. I also check the filtered water with a TDS tester and the result is 16 which is surpose to be good enough to drink. If anyone have any clue or experience this before, please let me know. Any advice and or suggestion is appreciated. Thank you.

joe w asked: I have designed a natural water filter that turns murky water clear. you still have to boil the water before you drink it. and a cheap windmill that uses a car alternator and battery to make power. Think there is a market for these ?
the alternator was $10 at a junk yard i do admit it burns out after about a month. the water filter was built on a micro level and is early in devolpment. both are intended to be used in emergency situations.

themanwho asked: I am planning to soften my water for all round benifit in the home.
I also want to purify my drinking water through a reverse osmosis system.
Can these 2 things be used together or can only 1 system be used?
If they can be used together can a reverse osmosis system purify softened water safely for drinking?

ckm asked: I own a Katadyn Combi water filter. Carbon refill packets for it are expensive. There are many places to buy activated carbon in bulk relatively cheap. Physically it’s a trivial matter to buy in bulk and use it in the filter but I’m wondering about the quality of the carbon, the form of the carbon and how suited it is for the filter or anything else I need to be aware of when buying carbon in bulk.

David asked: I recently moved into a house with a Kinetico VX reverse osmosis water filter. The normal water is city water, and we also soften it, so it is fluoridated. I know RO removes fluoride, and I have a 2-month old and 2-year old. Given that the RO system also removes any dangerous chemicals, should I be using it even though it removes fluoride?

Kikkaz asked: We have 2 goldfish in a 40 x 20 cm tank. They were recently brought home by my daughter who won them at a fair. One is long finned, the other is your plain, everyday goldfish. Both are quite small (about 4-5 cm in length). We’ve decked out their tank with various pebbles, shells and stones to make it interesting for them, but it’s not a proper tank with filters etc. so it gets pretty smelly quite quickly and needs water changes very often.
We have a kind of shallow well in the garden, not very deep, about 2 metres from top ground level to water surface, with about 1 metre of pure, clear, underground,up-filtering water constantly present. At the moment it’s inhabited by 2 frogs which fell in there about 3 years ago and have now grown quite large and seem happy in their environment. They obviously survive on mosquito larvea and other water borne life to have survived and grown this long.
Can I add my goldfish in there or could they be indangered by the frogs? And do we need to feed them
Exactly CBohio….that’s what I want to put right!…to give them a better quality of life!

With love. asked: Like Brita & Pūr water filters.
How do they remove chlorine, lead and other substances from the water?
And are they really worth the money?
Compared to regular tap water?
